This practical three step model of emotional intelligence by 6seconds provides a road map to put EI into action. It is a process to become more effective with emotions.
Clients have the option to complete an Emotional Intelligence Assessment, a powerful tool that will help you reflect on the eight emotional intelligence competencies covered in the model. The assessment provides valuable insights to create a plan of action to increase an individuals EI.
The three step model and the assessments focus on:
1. Know Yourself (self-awareness)
Enhance Emotional Literacy: accurately identify and appropriately interpret emotions
Recognize Patterns: recognize reaction and choices
2. Choose Yourself (self-management)
Apply Consequential Thinking: evaluate the costs and benefits of choices before acting

Increase Empathy: respond appropriately to others’ feelings
